Meet the Hosts
Zahiyya
Zahiyya is an experienced Fashion Designer and owner of Region Design Lab. Over the past 26+ years Zahiyya has worked in the NYC fashion Industry building millions in revenue for design firms, also sewing and designing for private clients.
Her fashion and textile designs have been featured in various publications including The New York Times, Huffington Post, Aziza Magazine, Sew News and the Philadelphia Enquirer among others.
When Zahiyya is not designing clothes, or building brands she can be found tending her many plants, reading, sipping coffee or hanging out with her daughters, husband and family.
LaTisha
LaTisha started “Keeping You in Stitches” in 2011, which focuses on Fashion consultancy, and “KYIS Academy” which focuses on Fashion education. We are your one-stop Fashion center. Allow us to Keep You In Stitches.
LaTisha Winston is a native of Washington, D.C. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Fashion Apparel Management (with a minor in Fashion Design) from the Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science; and a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Fashion Design from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA.
LaTisha has over 25 years in the fashion industry in NYC as an apparel Tech designer. She is also a College Professor teaching Fashion Design and merchandising for the past 12 years.
Naima
Fearless Threads specializes in handcrafted, made with love handbags and accessories for bold, fun, and fearless women. Launched in Spring 2011, the brand was inspired by a friend’s request for a unique gift made from the vibrant fabrics of Ghana.
Our founder and designer, Naima D., has been sewing since middle school. She translated her love of fashion and craft into a vibrant brand filled with color and pattern. Inspired by the beautiful prints found in classic quilting, she built her brand recognition by mixing patterns in all of her unique works, creating a one-of-a-kind product.
